Cançó del disc The Doors (gener de 1967). El disco sencer es va gravar en nomès dos dies (31 d'agost i 1 de septembre de 1966) i la majoria de cançons es van fer en una sola presa. Aquest disc inclou altres mitos (dels de veritat) com Light my fire o Break On Through i va col·locar al grup de Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, Johan Densmore i Robbie Krieger al capdamunt de la llista d'èxits, el mateix any que els Beatles treurien (mig any més tard, juny de 1967) el Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
La peli Apocalypse Now! de Francis Ford Coppola és de 1979. El seu rodatge ha estat un dels més complicats de la història i va incloure un atac de cor del protagonista Martin Sheen causat per sobredosis. Va ser nominada a 6 Òscars però nomès en va guanyar 2: millor fotografia i millor so. Al 2001 es va presentar Apocalypse Now! Redux al Festival de Cannes amb un nou muntatge que allargava la peli fins a les tres hores i mitja....no es fa llarga
